"Explore and learn" is a project for exchange between youngsters from two close one to each other countries of the Balkans. Despite the nearness of Bulgaria and Albania, those are two countryes with totally different social and cultural background. The main aim of the project is to make popular among the youngsters the exploring of the nature and the practicing of outdoor activities. The exchange will be with duration of 8 days (plus 2 days for traveling) in the period 07-16.10.2011. The project will gather22 participants - 8 youngsters and 2 leaders from Albania and 10 youngsters and 2 leaders from Bulgaria. The exchange will take place in the region of village Karlukovo which is one of the reachest karst areas in Bulgaria. The region of village Karlukovo and the Iskar valey offers wide viriety of eco-tourism and cultural and holy tourism optionsThe long-lasting goal of the exchange is the development of the speleology and the outdoor activities in the area of Bulgaria and Albania with the purpose of progressing the partnership on international level……….During the planned activities the youngsters from Bulgaria which already have experience in the sphere of mountaneering and speleology will share and exchange this experience with the albanian partcipants which don't have any. The participants will master needed information and skills linked to the following activities: forming of caves and karst formations, staying and camping in outdoor conditions, individual and group safety, responsible attitude in the nature. The main method which will be used is "leraning by doing", through this method the youngsters will become aware of direct experience and will realize the result which will be abble to use as soon as they need it. The project aims to stimulate intercultural dialogue, solidarity and understanding using the power of outdoor activities and speleology.
