EVS - Interculturale/intergenerational education and no formal learning

Creativity and cultureHealth and wellbeingThe EVS programme asked for a non-formal and intercultural dimension. Our project is a non-formal learning activity, and will have a clear definition of the tasks for volunteers to participate, and this will have an intercultural dimension. There will be a fulltime service and an active role of the volunteer in implementing the activities. The Activity is not replace any employment.The EVS program is free on charge for the volunteers, except for possible travel costs. Our program is open for all young people without prejudice to ethnic group, religion, sexual orientation, political opinion etc.In a village with a growing number of inhabitants with an international background , we want to lock into activities as: integration and cooperation between generations and nations. We will use culture and creativity, health and wellbeing as an instrument for sucsess.We know, to make or create something common , contributing to cohesion. To provide culture will make people happy, and happy people are less sick.That is one way we can create excellent venues for meeting space to intergenerational and integration. Through experiences with culture, we will have a multitude of possibilities. And not least cohesion and understanding across generations. One side effects of our projects are healthy happy people. Our two participants said that project is a great opportunity to broaden their organizational and social skills. Also they want to take part in all activities during EVS and make themselves useful. They feel they can share their knowledges and skills and are open for new experience.They like to be a part of a team. They really like to learn new languages. They are highly motivated and ready to do their best, and cope with all difficulties. What thy expect from this program : A friendly, positive work atmosphere, team spirit and disciplin are of importance for them. They are looking forward to experiencing the Norwegian culture closer and acquiring the advantage by improving their skills in this unique environment Clear goals for the projectClear goals for target learning, both for the participants, the participating organizations and the local communityA well-planned program that encourages learning at individual and groupsInteractive and inclusive methods that encourage active participationA comprehensive plan in relation to audiences learning of all activities in the program is important, and is part of the learning processLong-term goals must be to achieve lasting good international meeting places which integrates praise and older together. That we can get to the good international exchange annually from various places inside and outside the EU
