EVS for rising intercultural understanding

Centre of Youth Initiatives Horyzonty invites 3 volunteers (from Spain, Germany and Ukraine) to participate in the projet: ?EVS for Rusing intercultural understanding?. Volunteers will spend 11 months (from 1st October 2014 till 30th August 2015) performing regular workshops for children and young people, using non formal education methods, arts and sports. Workshops will take place in local school (primary and secondary) and Cultural Centre ?Kr?g? in the district of ?azarz. Main objective is to raise intercultural understanding by introducing cultural diversity to the local society through animation of youth with foreign volunteers. Activities Rusing non formal education are aimed at activating and integrating local community, developing intercultural competences and tolerance. Additionaly, volunteers will be a promotion of EVS and Erasmus Plus programme and their activities will raise awareness concerning EU and European citizenship.
