Start date: Jul 1, 2016, End date: Jun 30, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

HIVSET has a tradition in initiatives of European (school) partnerschips and several groups of students and teachers went on internship in Europa. With this project in staff mobility we want to take a next step in reference to our international development plan and our quality handbook. Within the human ressource management of our school the approach of appreciative inquiry offers the possibilty to focus on talents of staff members. As part of this staff management plan HIVSET choose to stimulate staff members actively to take part in European and international learning and improve their competentences linked to their professional profile in a sustainable way and to valorize their learning outcomes into our school. The needs analysis of our school resulted in the selection of the following areas for quality improvement: - better understanding, approach and ability to cope with the diversity in the school and improvement of our class management. - implementation of the quality approach in the school teams and in our teaching. - insights on new teaching and learning to tackle the challenges of the future for the school and improvement of our pedadogical plan. Within the reference of our European development plan, we selected the following learning activities:- Staff training through selected courses fromout the structural European training offer: 'Finnish lessons in education', 'Metha learning & thinking skills', 'Teaching for tomorrow'.-Job shadowing of a team of teachers and staff members at a partner school in Europa: * in the Czech Republic on e-learning and knowledge building in the digital learning context * in Finland on coaching, entrepreneurship and diversity in the classroom* in Ireland on tackling the challenge of competence-based teaching and assessment of competences * in France on tackling diversity at school and the follow-up of students within a digital learning context - Teaching assignment of a team of staff members in a partner school:* in Spain with teaching on cooperative learning and team dynamics.* in Romania with training and teaching on 'appreciative approach' and coaching of staff membersThe selection process of our project partners was guided by our existing good experience with our European partners. Meanwhile, the selection of this partners offers to us a guarantee of quality for this project.Through the process of identifying, formulating, assessing and valorising the competences and learning outcomes HIVSET will develop his knowledge and ability to apply European Gualifications Frameworks and consider further qualitative development of own instruments for validation of training and professional growth of staff members. This project as a whole will develop a positive impact together with effective transfer and guided innovation starting up from the beginning of the project. The participating staff members will improve their competences and skills but will also gain a European added value in educational quality, diversity and better and dynamic teaching within a broader European perspective. We expect that the participants in this project not only will improve the competences linked to their professional profile but also increase their capacity to trigger changes in terms of modernization and international opening within the educational curriculum of the school. This project has a clear positive impact on HIVSET as school and will enhance our capacity as learning organisation: a dynamic, committed and professional environment ready to integrate good practices and new methods into daily activities; open to synergies with European organizations and improving the development of the organization into excellence.
