Foreign mobility project – "Europejskie praktyki zawodowe dla uczniów EZN" is dedicated to students who learn in Elektroniczne Zakłady Naukowe – (EZN)/Upper-Secondary Electronic Scientific Unit in Wrocław and fulfills the following main objectives:- (an) increase of professional competencies, professional mobility and the ability to work in a multicultural environment,- (an) increase of students’ self-reliance, self-confidence and equipping them in tools enabling them to find themselves not only on the local job market but also on the international one,- (an) increase of respect for other cultures and people of different features.A four-week, professional mobility period (01-26.05.2017) will take place in Italy and Portugal:a) in Bolonia (25 students – IT technician profile, 3 students – electrical technician profile, 2 students – mechatronic technician profile),b) in Evora (10 students – IT technician profile, 2 students – electrical technician profile, 3 students – mechatronic technician profile).Participants will be chosen on the basis of clear criteria including, inter alia, language test results, vocational subjects’ average and conduct. Details of the aforementioned process together with general information will be included in the recruitment and participation rulebook.Students, prior to their foreign apprenticeship, will undergo a set of preparatory activities (cultural ones, language-oriented – i.e. English – the language of the apprenticeship, the language of the host country – i.e. Italian/Portuguese). The participation in the project will enable youth to increase their professional skills, become familiar with new cultures and develop a sense of tolerance and respect towards others. Mobility, apart from professional duties, will mean a rich cultural program – trips to Venice, Florence, Lisbon, etc. The above mentioned activities will contribute to the increase of all participants’ and accompanying parties’ professional mobility and development and personal development.Students will be given several certificates proving acquired competencies at the end of the project. It will comprise, inter alia, Mobility Europass, certificates from foreign partners and finished preparatory courses certificates. Documents received during this project will allow students to compete effectively on a more and more difficult job market both in Poland and other countries. As far as the regional impact is concerned, correct project procedures and collecting good practices and its presentation at school principals meetings will contribute to the increase of the number of schools that will be applying for EU funds. The project will also have further consequences in a long-term perspective – it will contribute to the development of ‘EZN’ and will equip us in skills necessary for executing European projects. It will extend the field of expertise of the project team and will make us more effective as far as adjusting education programs to the international job market needs is concerned. It will also widen international connections being beneficial for our school.Successive contacts among citizens and institutions will lead to a closer approach of attitudes and people while taking into account European dimension. We would like to highlight that this project is an element of a wide range of activities, which, as a whole, will bring a qualitative change in the international field. It is important to observe that this project will be also an element contributing to the realization of the European objective, namely, of the labour market mobility increase.
