EUROPEJSKIE PRAKTYKI SUKCESU
Start date: Dec 31, 2014, End date: Dec 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project "Europejskie Praktyki Sukcesu'" (realised by ZSP Nr 2 school) included participating in a four-week vocational training for 27 (2 groups) students of III grade technical secondary school (17 students: advertising methods and organisation technician and 10 students: catering industry technician). They were chosen by the special selection board (the headteacher, coordinator, form teachers) then all the necessary contracts were signed. The training took place in a German company's offices so before it began, the students were given lectures on the German culture and language. Moreover, courses connected with advertising methods and organisation, and catering industry were also done to remind and explain basic data. During the training lessons the participants were doing their tasks according to the programme: - students of advertising methods and organisation in special IT center (fulfilling their duties using special programmes and hardware) - students of catering industry in canteens and kitchens (fulfilling their duties using special kitchenware) The project focused on the students needs to develope their vocational skills and knowledge of their faculties. The changing market, growing requirements and not enough lessons on advertising and catering were the main reasons for the teachers to write the project. Therefore, the aims of it were to improve not only students academic background but also to build and practise their vocabulary and the language skills connected with their faculties in everyday situations. In addition, the experience to train in Germany gave them a better start in future job interviews in local or European companies, and influenced their mobility. At the end, they were given ECVET, EUROPASS CERTIFICATE MOBILITY (they can be used to the end of the students career). Thanks to their taking part in the project in Germany the students completed their compulsory school, vocational training and were given appropriate grades in their journals. Due to the rich cultural programme, the participants were given a very important possibility to visit new places such as: Berlin, Leipzig and Dresden. The project was organised together with our German partner Vitalis Betreuugsgesellschaft fur Mdellprojekte mbH who has had a great experience in similar programmes such as: Leonardo da Vinci programme. Vitalis was responsible to provide the participants with accommodation, boarding, cultural and free time activities. The both partners enriched their experience so the school became a well-known and recommended education center in the local community. Their workers and teachers developed their skills and knowledge therefore they can convey and share their experience with forthcoming students in tne future.
