The project is reffered to 2 groups of students, of Zespół Szkół zawodowych nr 1 ( Secondary Vocational School) in Wronki, being educated as: IT technician (9 students) and mechatronic technician (21 students), and 2 groups of students of Technikum Elektroniczno-Mechaniczne (Secondary School of Technology) in Poznań, being educated as: mechatronic technician (30 students).The total number of participants of the project is 60 students and 4 teachers (2 teachers taking care of 30 students). Work practice takes place in enterprises in Portugal. Due to these foreign practice students have a chance to get new professional competences connected with the latest trends and technologies. The students will have a chance to deepen practical knowledge and perfect professional skills finally confirmed with a proper certificate. Competed practice will enable to compare achieved theoretical and practical knowledge to advanced technologies in partner countries. The students of third forms (IT technicians) will perfect their skills and competences such as:- preparing work stations,- using documentation sheets,- performing tasks connected with: maintenance/ regulation/ measurement, assemble and disassemble of electronic and computer appliances.The students of mechatronic classes will get competences dealing with construction and programming CNC tools on the basis ISO standards/ manual programming and developing their skills in making technical drawing.After practice the students will have an opportunity to present their gained competences and better chances for future career.It will also let them to adjust their competences to market needs, get extra qualifications, develop language skills, be acquainted with working methods in other countries. The above project aims at higher quality of vocational training in the area. Due to innovative methods of learning and qualified teachers, unification of training methods and final certificates students will get competences used in European countries. We expect to have the following results:- comparison of training programs in European countries,- grading systems unification.It may result in greater international mobility, higher vocational training and developing such personal characteristics such as self-reliance and dealing with difficult situations, and team work. Participation in Erasmus project will increase popularity of both schools and make school recruitment better in the new school year 2016/2017. After coming back to Poland, the phase of promotion and implementation of the projects result will start. It will include the following events: The Day of Vocational Education, presentation on Education Fair, photography exhibition and students interviews showing their acquired knowledge and skills.
