EUROPEJSKIE KONTAKTY SZANSĄ NA WPROWADZENIE INNOWACJI ZAWODOWYCH W ROLNICTWIE

Technical School of Life Sciences (Technikum Inżynierii Środowiska i Agrobiznesu) is administrated and a part of Poznań University of Life Sciences. Our school has a long 70 year tradition of educating superb agricultural staff , which has always played a crucial role in the Great Poland region. Students of our school are prepared to perform professions related to farming such as Mechanic Technician for Agriculture Equipment, Agriculture Technician, Veterinary Technician and Renewable Energy Technician. The professions are the natural choice based on their interests, family heritage and possibilities offered on the labour market. The motivation for participation in the competition is a need to improve the quality and innovation of teaching vocational subjects prepare students to innovate in their own professional practice, development of culture and language, based on existing contacts of our school of French farming school in Aire sur l`Adour which young people from severalIt takes years of practice in Wielkopolska, including the farms of our graduates.The principal aim of the project is the improvement of our cooperation with French Farming School, which started in the spring of 2015. At that time 2 French students did a 2-week internship on the farms of our students. Moreover, they were guests of Polish families. During one of the weekends, 22 French students visited our school and spent time with Polish students. Not only both groups made friends, but also they shared valuable ideas and vocational experiences. Polish students are invited to be interns on the farms in France . We would like to take advantage of the invitation and improve the quality of learning outcomes in our school. We plan to practice to send 4 groups of students (20 students two guardians) during the periods September and October 2016 IV-V-2017 IX-X 2017 April-May 2018.The project enables them to take part in the unique cooperation and do internships abroad in one of the most agriculturally developed European country. It not only meets the needs of participants but also school, parents, local companies and future employers. There are plans to introduce Polish students to the innovative techniques of growing unmodified corn. The project allows our students to observe and work with ecological breeding of free-range livestock in France. It also enables them to watch veterinary service and understand institutional solutions such as French manufacturing and selling associations. The experience gained in that way can lead to many positive changes and impact rural areas in our region.We expect that the project will contribute to starting more manufacturing groups ,which are very common and generate huge benefits in France especially in the region of Aquitaine.French Farming techniques can be utilized in the Innovative Agricultural Centre that is to be created as a part of our school in the near future. We hope that students educated in such international dimension will support the mentioned institution. We want to prepare our students for the new challenges of modernity, such as the use of innovative professional awareness of the needs of international contacts, exchange of ideas and preparation for coexistence of multicultural society.
