We want to implement this project to satisfy school’s the most important need as public institution of vocational education: the need to raise the level of graduades preparation for professional work. It would also enable to students to meet their personal needs: gaining knowledge and experience important for finding a job.The main objective of the project is to facilitate to the participants to find decent employment after finishing school. The specific objectives are: to facilitate the participants to expand - in line with the expectations of the labor market - professional and language skills and personal competences.The project objectives are consistent with the targets of Erasmus + Program:- Raising the level of key competences and skills, with particular emphasis on adaptation to the labor market;- Expanding international dimension of education and training;- Improving teaching and learning of languages and promoting linguistic diversity and increasing intercultural awareness within the EU.The project participants will be selected among the candidates - students of the Secondary Mecanics-Electric School Complex (ZSM-E) in Elk; learning specializations: t. electricity technician; electronics technician; mechatronics technician; car vehicles technician; car mechanic. We are planning participation of 32 students in the project, in the school year 2016/2017, for internships lasting three weeks, to Portugal will go one group of 16 trainees and similar group will leave in next school year.The most important of the planned results are specified below.Hard results:- Receiving by the participants Europass Mobility documents, certificates of English course end Portuguese course completion- Obtaining internships certificates by participants,- Obtaining by the participants certificates of preparation classes completion,Soft results:- Expansion of professional skills in line with labor market needs,- Broadening language skills,- Acquiring the ability to work in an international environment, communicating in foreign language;- Increasing chances on the job market (local, national, European)- Improving professional and personal aspirations.- Increasing participants' motivation for further learning,- Increase of sence ofduty and discipline;- Knowledge of the history, culture and customs of the host country;- Developing attitude of tolerance for different cultures and behaviors;- Raising prestige and attractiveness of the school.Through the implementation of the entire project, our school will expand its experience in international cooperation, increase its prestige and popularity among young people, which should improve recruitment.Portuguese partner of the project will expand knowledge and skills, gain new experiences useful in the development of international activities. Representatives of school and representatives of the project partner will meet people raised in different culture, which will contribute to increase of their sensitivity to issues of intercultural dialogue and diversity of customs and behaviors in other European countries.Project participants, after completing internships and returning to the country, will be able to transfer gained knowledge and experience to other students, and they will use their new skills in future careers. This will contribute to raising standard and increase diversity of the services of employing our trainees companies on the local and regional level, and indirectly - of course adequately to the scale of our project - on the domestic market. Some of participants,in the future, will probably work abroad, where they will be able to take advantage of the lessons learned from the project and contribute to the modernization of their workplaces - and thanks to the completion of internships and possession of documents confirming participation in the project it will certainly be easier for them to get any work: both at home and abroad.
