Europejska praktyka jako perspektywa rozwoju osobistego i zawodowego.
Start date: Dec 31, 2015, End date: Dec 30, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The participants of the project are a group of 65 IVT students attending Regionalne Centrum Edukacji Zawodowej (a technical school) in Nisko, Poland, and residing within the Nisko Poviat and the neighbouring counties. The group includes students who are studying to obtain their electrics, mechatronics, electronics or IT technician's degree. The region is facing a high unemployment rate (26,6%, as stated by the local office of employment). The project aims at supporting the students' mobility and their free movement within the European labour market. The project also focuses on advocating the students' education and their progress in gaining and employing their knowledge, their skills and qualifications in order to promote the personal development and to increase their chances of finding work and participating in the European labour market. As a result of the project, the participants should improve their professional qualifications and language competences which will significantly increase their opportunities on the European labour market. Taking part in the project will also allow the participants to improve their verbal and interpersonal skills as well as their command of the professional language. Moreover, the participants will have an opportunity to observe labour culture in the partner country, where qualities such as reliability, accuracy and conscientiousness are highly valued. Other results of the project include gaining personal experience and skills which will support the overall development of the participants and build their self-esteem and their ability to act in difficult situations, especially under pressure. In addition, taking part in the project will advocate breaking the language barrier and promote a tolerant attitude towards different cultures. The majority of potential project participants are materially and socially disadvantaged students with a rural background where the opportunities for participation in EU programs are limited. The internships will be held in Germany. The project partners are two German organizations: Vitalis GMBH and Berlink ETN GMBH (part of "ETN Network" with offices in Italy - Rimini, Potenza, Spain - Malaga, Bulgaria - Sofia and the UK - Portsmouth, London. Apart from the professional training, the students will take part in a varied cultural programme allowing them to experience the diversity of the European culture. The students' command of professional language will be practised in real-life situations during work. The internships will take place as follows:18 January 2016 - 12 February 2016, 1 February 2016 - 26 February 2016, 13 February 2017 - 10 March 2017 and 27 February 2017 - 24 March 2017.
