The aim of the project is to boost the quality of vocational education, as well as to increase occupational and language competence of 40 students, which then will be certified. The project is directed to 3rd grade students of the Private Vocational College of the Vocational Education Centre in Kielce from the faculties of: logistics technician, IT technician, cooking technician. Our partner in the project is Tellus Group from Plymouth in the UK, which has long standing experience in realizing mobility projects. International traineeship in Plymouth will be provided for 2 groups of 20 students and 2 tutors in the following dates: the first group – 04.04.2016 - 29.04.2016; the second group – 07.11. 2016 - 02.12.2016. The number of representatives from particular vocational courses will be proportional to the number of such students at school, that is: logistics technician – 10 students, IT technician – 5 students, cooking technician – 5 students. Before the traineeship, logistic and organizational support will be provided to the students. They will also be trained in the aspects of culture, language and pedagogy. Apart from organizing work placements Tellus Group will provide the participants of the training with the complex programme of vocational training including the following: APT training, vocational language activities “Communication in a work place”. Language activities will be a form of support and improvement of students’ communication in the practical work place settings. The programme of vocational training in British work places will be consistent with the educational plan and programme of the school. The students are going to gain work experience in work places working 8 hours a day five days a week. The traineeship programme will suit the needs of Polish and British employers and will be prepared in cooperation with the Partner. In their spare time, the participants of the project will learn the culture, history and tradition of Great Britain. Participation in international traineeship will result in the increase of language competition of the students and their mobile and enterprising attitude, which will increase their chances of employment in local and European market. The project will also allow students to get to know professional environment, organization and culture of work in foreign country. International professional contacts, established in the project may allow the participants to take up a job in the partner's country. On the other hand, by hiring our graduates, Polish employers may count on introducing modern techniques and technologies into their companies. The final product of the project will be a popularizing material about modern techniques, methods, technology and quality systems used in British firms generated and completed by the participants and their tutors. This will also contribute significantly to the improvement of the quality of education and modernization of the educational system through the exchange of good practice in other schools in Kielce and Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Obtaining Europass – Mobile certificate in Polish and English will guarantee the acknowledgement of participants' qualifications and vocational abilities in all countries of the European Union. It will also enable them to access employees. The certificate with a grade obtained according to ECVET will be an additional asset. The APT Certificate will be an authentication of transparent skills and equalized modules that are recognizable in all European countries. It can be used by the participants while continuing education in EU countries or when applying for a job in the local environment as well as abroad.
