1) Coordinating a multicultural network for a european cinema event (5 months) + 1 personal project (1 month)NISI MASA is developing a project with the event LE JOUR LE PLUS COURT on diferent levels : local/national/European.It helps anyone (person with fewer opportunities, associations, NGO, institutions) to organise free screenings of shorts on the special shortest day of each year: 21/12/14 (then 2015)The volunteering project consists in building a new common event with the whole NISI MASA network of young filmamkers : organizing a seminar about short film distribution and organizing local free screenings of shorts in Paris (European cultural centers) and in Europe on the same date. NISI MASA will present films focused on cultural diversity and solidarity to different local communities in order to promote peaceful cohabitation. 2) Coordinating a Youth Forum (5 months) + 1 personal project (1 month)The 2nd edition of the NISI MASA Forum GENERATOR will take place1-5/042014 in Strasbourg, France (then 2015), bringing together 150 young filmmakers, producers and young cultural managers with experts and decision makers from Europe. GENERATOR aims to create a dialogue among young professionals and students about the future of the audiovisual and culture in Europe. The attendants will participate in workshops and seminars, conducted by experts and decision makers from different fields of the audiovisual industry and the youth sector. Representatives from our partner organizations and from the NISI MASA network will be part of debates and panels with the participants. The participants will be offered to take part in from workshops on scriptwriting, film journalism, transmedia, culture management, production and distribution of short films and European audiovisual funding. Moreover, each evening participants and locals will be able to attend a screening of short films produced and/or distributed inside the NISI MASA network (28 countries).
