European Union training centre providing theoretical and practical training in the field of emergency medical care

The funding helped to develop a modern approach to emergency medical services,its theory and practice, and to organise and implement training and further trainingfor Romanian specialist staff and doctors in the framework a residential course. Therenovation of the building situated on the same plot as the hospital in Makó made itpossible to provide a theoretical and practical residential course. Furthermore a moderntraining room has also been created to be used for classroom teaching and later forconferences, bilateral meeting of doctors and meetings organised to share experiences.The transfer of experience, the creation of a unified approach and the support ongoingcross-border professional relationships were all important aims of the training.
