European Sustainable Agriculture Education - level 4 (ESA-4)

Improved training for sustainable agriculture : Substantial growth in organic/sustainable agricultural production and consumption in the EU requires the development of an occupational profile and curriculum introducing innovative sustainable agriculture training. The achievements of the project will help to increase the number of educational institutions offering programmes in sustainable agriculture and should also improve the standard of training. The establishment of the network in a legal body (ENSA Association) has been planned to contribute to the continuation of the network and its operations. This project started in 2001 and lasted 36 months.
