„European skills for our future jobs” addresses TVET students, in the area of Services, distributed as it follows: 15 students from the 11th grade – with the Banqueting Organizer qualification and 15 students form the 11th grade - with the “Hairdresser/Stylist” qualification. There are groups of 15 students because this is the number of students who form a group during the practical training. The practical training will be held in Germany in the partner institution F+U Saxony in Chemnitz, for a period of 2 weeks training for each qualification. The project aims to:- facilitate the transition from school to work by training and strengthening of skills to quickly adapt to the European labor market needs;- ensure the access to quality education in order to improve the students` practical skills for the “Banqueting Organizer” and “Hairdresser/Stylist” qualifications by learning and practicing of preparation, presentation and serving menus for different events and by performing activities of hair dyeing and hair depigmentation;- improve the labor market insertion process of the 30 students by acquiring the necessary skills for absorption and maintenance on a modern, flexible and dynamic labor market, and also adapted to the European requirements;-familiarize students with the lifestyle in an EU country on order to educate them for the European citizenship and intercultural awareness;- improve the English and German linguistic skills.The stages of the project will be those of implementation, ongoing mobility and of impact and dissemination.During the implementation stage, organizational activities will take place; details related to students mobility will be established with the partner; the selection procedure will be started; the direct beneficiaries` linguistic, pedagogical and cultural training will take place; the practical and logistic arrangements regarding the aspects of mobility will be made. The practical training will take place/unfold at F+U Saxony, which will provide the students qualified staffs in the field of Food/Nourishment and of Aesthetics. Every day, students will have to perform tasks according to the qualifications and modules selected for this project. The students` assessment will be made, initially, by the tutors first day of practice in mobility, on the way by tutors and by teachers attendants, and at the end of the project, the students will have to support a sample in their specialty.The Romanian teachers, on the portfolios and the individual assessment reports filled in by the staff from the partner unit, will grade the participating students, grades which will be written down in catalogues and will form the basis for the final grade for the modules: Menus Offer and Hair Pigmentation and Depigmentation. For “Hairdresser/Stylist” qualification students,assessments during the two weeks of practice, will contribute 75% of the average for the final module because they will perform 60 hours of the 90 assigned. Monitoring the students` progress during the internship will be done by filling in the observation and assessment sheets both by the Romanian monitoring teachers and by the tutors. Teachers attendants will also have the quality of mobility monitors.The impact is to:- reduce the number of high school students at risk of dropping out school as a result of increasing the attractiveness of the educational process by facilitating the practical training in the European space;- facilitate the transition from the school lab to the work place;- facilitate finding a job after graduating from local/national or European high school;- improve communication with the trader/economic operator for employment;- increase the prestige of the institution, locally, due to the implementation and management of the European funded projects;- achieve the annual tuition plan.Following the development of the project, the following Performance Indicators will be achieved:- developing an established organizational framework adapted to the identified needs of the target group, a framework able to allow further development activities of the project and to ensure their sustainability;- developing a monitoring plan which will offer real information about the financial situation of the project;- involving and training 30 students in the project;-developing a collaborative strategy with the host institution in order to further cloud partnerships;-editing 3 brochures: one with the presentation of the two mobilities (one for the German partner) and two with activities during the practical training; - holding 3 regional seminars on motivating graduates for national and European labor market insertion.
