The project " European practice by Erasmus +" wants to meet major problem facing SW Oltenia region in terms of youth unemployment , which is why we aim to develop a collaborative and sustainable partnership with an European institution having direct involvement in education and employment zone where employers need motivated individuals with multiple skills . The partnership consists of Colegiul Tehnic Decebal , Drobeta Turnu Severin and Agrupamento of Escolas of Alcochete in Lisbon , Portugal . Purpose of the project: Awareness of the practical training for a natural transition from school to working life through a thorough training grounded in practical activities since junior high school. We propose the following objectives: Overall Objective: Providing professional development chances for students to obtain qualifications for employment opportunities that exist in trades and adaptation to technological change specific to modern economy . Specific objectives: O1. Developing key competencies and specific practical skills Environmental Protection for a better transition to upper secondary education and prepare the transition from school to working life. O2. Developing skills for living- knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for personal fulfillment, knowledge of at least one foreign language, active citizenship. O3.Creating new sustainable contacts at European level Decebal Technical College -Apply for the development of cooperation between the world of work and training. The target group consists of 32 people, tenth grade students who are in initial vocational training at the Technical College Decebal, the basic training: Environment , upper secondary education qualification : Technician ecologist and environmental quality , which carry practical training of 90 hours with AEA support in INSA laboratories at the research center 13/06/2016 - 01/07/2016 - stream 1 ( 16 students) and 12.06.2017 - 30.06.2017- stream 2 ( 16 students) . Project evaluation will be conducted through the use of specific assessment tools (questionnaires, analysis of documents, interviews) which measures the degree of fulfillment of objectives and outcomes. These aim at professional development of participants, language acquisition, the experience of living and working in another country, validated by international certificates - Europass Mobility document and language training certificates, recognized by the partner schools through ECVET . Project sustainability is ensured by the action of presenting the experiences gained by participants and best practices in the local community members , and rural communities from which they come , in order to increase the employability of graduates of high school education The impact of the project on Decebal Technical College in 2015/2016 school year : It is foreseen the full realization of Socializing Plan by increasing the attractiveness of the educational offer and sustainable development in the field of environmental protection ; reduce absenteeism and dropout by ensuring the specialized modules ( labs and practice ) as required by curriculum and regulations in force; developing the European dimension in the school policy ; greater confidence that the school and European programs offer a real chance of success employability , improving language teaching policy , improving cooperation between teachers, school management development and community image . The long-term cooperation with Portuguese partners by signing a MoU aims : -extension of number of training placements for the qualification: Technician ecologist and environmental quality in case VET trainees -increasing quality practical training by using tools developed in project regarding monitoring and evaluation ( observation cards , evaluation sheets , worksheets daily practice books ) at all stages of practice organized by the school and implementation of ECVET elements at the institution ( LA, MoU , Europass) . The project is in consonance with Erasmus + which has the theme of intervention early school leaving, access for disadvantaged groups and priorities for reducing youth unemployment .
