European, National and Regional Identity - Theory and Practice (ENRI)

European, National and Regional Identity – Theory and Practice is a joint research program of three universities, Partium Christian University, University of Debrecen and University of Oradea. Using interdisciplinary methods and theories the five research teams will examine the interactions between different types of identity from the perspective of contemporary philosophy and sociology.The project contains preparatory activities, project managing, research and communication activities. The main activity is scientific research (theoretical analysis and synthesis; methodology development; empirical research and analysis; workshops, editing research reports; writing research studies), other activities serve to sustain the research activity.The target groups of the project are: 1. the partner institutions; 2. the academic community of the border areas; 3. European, national, regional, governmental or non- governmental organizations, institutes and agencies which are interested in regional development; 4. the larger public of the border areas.
