MOSAIC centres on synergy between education, culture and citizenship, relevant to the objectives of Comenius program. Cultural revelation through high mobility and personal discovery is applied to achieve spirit of tolerance, excellence and efficiency as well as artistic and innovative thinking. Promoting social, historical and cultural values, MOSAIC brings EU pupils together through intercultural dialogue based on study of historic and cultural inheritance, and intercultural dialogue brings to fostering European identity and active citizenship.Through "The 7 Wonders of our city" (cultural-historic monuments in partners' cities/regions, chosen by each school) pupils introduce their identity (culture, history, social life) to the partners and respectively – learn about theirs. All this happens via challenging race (solving and following cultural riddles) in search of hidden in the 7 Wonders clues - pieces of a mosaic which is finally to be arranged and artistically interpreted.Introducing the eternal values through the idea of 7 Wonders, MOSAIC helps pupils enjoy better life as active European citizens: education through personal merge in diversity/similarity of EU cultural-historic inheritance will bring for building up pupils' character and team-work habit, development of key competences, competitiveness and motivation. MOSAIC fits naturally in the context of our school curricula. It's tailor-made for active pupils' participation (including SPNeed and ethnic minority pupils), high mobility and exchange of experience within European dimension - learning about their countries’ history through cultural monuments, the participants explore and compare European diversity, understand the values of European cultural heritage and appreciate each other's cultures and views.
