The project EUROPEAN MOBILITY FOR EUROPEAN STUDENTS is the third project proposed by VET Vest + educational consortium, consortium constituted of LTTA Arieșeni as coordinator together with three other three VET schools: Ioan Ciordaş Technical College from Beiuș , Grigore Moisil Technological Highschool from Deva and Technological Highschool from Cîmpeni .External partner in the project is primarily ESCOLA Profissional DO Montijo - Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento do Montijo an establishment of private professional education in Portugal who founded together with the Montijo City Hall and several professional associations a non –profit organization, AFPDM laying the foundation of a public-private partnership designed to support different educational projects. The partnership with EPM-AFPDM is an ECVET partnership based on the Memorandum of Understanding from 2013 which creates a stable framework of cooperation on the entire horizont of Erasmus + program.Other partners in this project are companies, specialized companies in the area of interest of the project, catering and commerce. In this project we partnered with a number of 10 companies: MONTIPRATO restaurants , MARE CHEIA, PORQUE NAO, MOINHO DA PRAIA, AL FOZ, ALTERNATIVA, O ARRASTAO, A BANDA, CASA DO BENFICA and E.LECLERC hypermarket.The specific aims of this project are:-100 students who will develop key competences and general or specialized technical skills to a level that will prepare them for working life and for further studies in order to achieve a higher level of qualification (minimum 4 level-100 students who will accumulate transversal, linguistic, cultural and social competences in another setting than that of a school in the context of practicing the profession for which they are undergoing qualification and digital skills in the individual reporting activities.-expansion and diversification of international partnership map by adding three new companies, two for catering profile, one for commerce, in order to increase mobility opportunities to 100 per school year.The project was created for 100 students in the first stage of professional training in VET schools, a number of 85 students are coming from rural areas, belonging to social groups with fewer opportunities. These students are trained in the technological domain, having a specific profile in the services domain, the qualifications Catering worker, Sales assistant, Waiter, Gastronomy technician.The main activities of this project are the training of students at the workplace, assessment work units of learning outcomes achieved and self-assessment activities in wich the participant checks individual results and evaluates their level of training compared with the requirements for a job. Training activities in the workplace will take place in the restaurant/supermarket where the internship tutor explains, demonstrates and supervise the execution of tasks for each participant. During training activities the participants collaborate with team members to achieve specific tasks in the training field. The initial and final evaluation activities are carried out by the placement tutor from EPM – AFPDM.The internship tutor performs a continuous evaluation daily monitoring the evolution of the participants using a YES/NO rating scale evaluation worksheet.The mobility activities will take place in eight flows in four different periods so as students with different qualifications and belonging to different schools of the Consortium to be included in each mobility.The methodology underlying the project complies with OMECT 4931/ 2008 and Erasmus + program guide, students attending practical training of Romanian curriculum in a transnational mobility. The learning outcomes are evaluated abroad and transferred, validated and recognized in Romania based on an Europass Mobility Document.Project outcomes:-100 students with improved skills that will know how to work in teams , will make a better transition from school to work and will also the will acquire transversal linguistic, social and cultural competences-Improving the quality of training provided by schools as a result of training students through mobility-Improving transnational capacity and European economic and educational partnershipThe impact of the project is reducing absenteeism and dropout, improving thei students insertion on the labour market and increasing schools capacity to operate international agreements.The long term benefit is the additional value conferred by this project to school's educational offers and for the sustainability inside the community,in the region and in the entire students recruiting pool.
