European Marfan Support Network (EMSN) Young Adults Meeting 2010
Start date: Sep 1, 2010,

The EMSN Young Adults Meeting 2010 seeks to gather European youth between the age of 18 and 28 that are affected by Marfan Syndrom. The youth will discuss important issues related to having a rare disease, such as how to cope with the daily life with physical challenges, how to take responsibility for your health and all the check-ups, what kind of exercises and sports your are able/allowed to do and how that can improve your health. An important goal of the meeting is gathering information on how to best work for the young adults in the national support groups and hopefully inspire the youth to go back to their country working towards a or for the existing youth group. As parts of this, the participants will be asked to discuss what the young adults need from their national support networks and how one best can reach out to the young adults.
