European integration and international economic relations
Start date: Sep 1, 2015, End date: Aug 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

Relevance of the project is related to the fundamental changes that occurred in Europe over the past decade. Among them one of the most important process is the process of extremely rapid and dynamic development of European integration - formation and expansion of the European Union. An increasingly important place in these studies is occupied by the study of political and economic aspects of this complex and largely new formation to the world community. Russian science is no an exception too. Number of publications and research papers on the EU policy and its political development in Russia increases, developing research infrastructure, increasing scientific communication. Research and development are applied in teaching process of political and economic disciplines. Complicated relations between Russia and the European Union make this project even more relevant nowadays. Their partnership, although it is developing rapidly, is considered to be "difficult", burdened by economic disparities, political differences and mutual lack of understanding on several key issues. The project has a great academic value, as it will provide the basis for the opening in the university in the near future of new educational master double degree programs on International Management and International Relations. These educational programs will require students' knowledge of foundations of European integration and international economic relations. However, there are plans to open new international master degree programs which will focus on European Studies, European Integration and International Relations (including International Economic Relations). In this regard project has a great relevance and importance for KBSU
