European Fashion – Multicultural Exchange for Common Developement
Start date: May 4, 2015,
End date: Apr 3, 2016
European Fashion - Multicultural Exchange for Common Developement was an educational project aimed at developing the creativity and entrepreneurship of young people from different countries (Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Malta, Turkey and Portugal), through mutual learning their cultures and exchange of experiences. Through this diversity as well as cultural and historical richness- expressed even in aspects such as costumes, local history, fashion and social conventions, we wanted to get to know each other and seek answers to questions about the future of ourselves and Europe.
To achieve this, we created the idea of carrying out a project in which young people from different countries met together for 9 days in Poland in August 2016 Ustroń (6 days) and Katowice (3 days) and took a number of activities such as outdoor events, workshops, open events, based on two basic assumptions of the project - cultural exchange, mutual learning and promoting the diversity of our countries, as well as practical actions undertaken by participants which are to serve the promotion of creativity and entrepreneurship.
Implementation of these assumptions were used all planned as part of the project's preparation (surveys and public consultations), the main meeting, as well as at the stage of use of the results of the meeting (the promotion in social media and the impact on the local environment). In this way the project has combined an attractive subject of promoting youth activity and the impact on the local environment - aimed at achieving the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy, fully typing in the assumptions placed on non-formal education.
