Europe Work Trainning Experiences, Loulé Students

The main goal is to provide students Work Context Training (WCT) experience, during three weeks, in national or regional significant companies in two regions of the Czech Rep. and in a region of Slovenia. Students will be accompanied throughout the experience by a company monitor, with a clearly defined WCT plan, agreed upon by the company, the school, the students and their parents. During the first week, students will be accompanied and guided by a teacher of Loule Secondary School.Our partners, schools in Hranice and Frýdek-Místek, in Czech Rep. and Krško, in Slovenia, will mediate partnerships with these companies. The last two mentioned schools are newcomers in this type of projects which, on one hand, is considered a challenge and as opportunity to share our experience, but, on the other hand, ensures commitment to project success.We propose the mobility in three streams of twenty-six (26) students and three (3) accompanying teachers from Loule Secondary School. Students belong to the second and third years of Information Systems Management and Programming and Computer Equipment Management professional courses. They are selected based on well-defined rules, part of the school's internal regulation, public and accessible. This rules take into account students academic grades and merit.The main objectives of the project, are the following- To acquire skills, knowledge and professional qualitication;- To strengthen employment and career development opportunities computer science area;- To promote personal development;- To enable cooperation between countries in education and knowledge fields;- To promote a learning experience that addresses the quality and excellence of Work Context Training;- To develop language skills (English (26), Czech (20) and Slovenian (6));- To support the development of content, services, pedagogical methodologies and innovative practices based on ICT;- To ensure the improvement of their qualifications in companies, that are national and regional leaders in the area linked to the course they attend, and other nationally relevant companies associated with computer sciences;- Develop the sense of citizenship based on respect and tolerance for different peoples and cultures;- To strengthen autonomy and critical sense;- To promote creativity, competitiveness, self-esteem and entrepreneurial spirit;- To enable participation in project results promotion- To widen European educational space and increase the quality of education through best practices sharing among different school teachers;- To increase the motivation for formal and informal lifelong learning.The training plan will be set between partners and students involved, according to their characteristics and companies' needs.As a result, we expect our students to achieve the proposed objectives, and represent the school and the country with dignity. On a personal as professional levels it is intended that they are successful, that they increase their technical, social and language skills, and teamwork capabilities and to achieve personal satisfaction.This year, apart from repeating a past experience, with excellent results, we plan to extend our partner network to Slovenia, taking advantage of the fact that they have excellent partnerships in the region, in programming and robotics fields.We hope the result of this project and its subsequent dissemination promote greater participation of our school community, student involvement and commitment in their school career and that, in the future, promotes employability and entrepreneurship.The mobility Czech Republic will be held in February and the mobility to Slovenia in May, both in 2017. Students will do their Work Context Training in the cities of Hranice and Frydek-Mistek, in the Czech Rep. and in Krško, in Slovenia, on national and regional relevance businesses, preferably multinational/international. Our partners will prepare, in advance, visits to the most emblematic places of each of the countries where the training will take place, such as tourist sites, museums, countries' capitals (Prague and Ljubljana). These visits will take place during weekends.All students will receive the Europass Mobility Certificate, Europass Supplement, ECVET, a written opinion of the company and a written opinion of our partner, focusing student's personal and professional behavior and a certificate of Czech/Slovenian language and culture course (30 to 50 hours) attendance . Teachers will receive the Europass Mobility Certificate and a written opinion about their participation on the project.We hope that this will be a long and enduring partnership with benefits for all involved parts.
