Project title: " Europe is ONE"Context of the project: Common cultural heritage Polish and Ukrainian, Multiculturalism, European Values, European Indentity, development of international cooperation in Europe,Objectives of the project :- Awareness of the role of youth in shaping the future of both countries and the impact they will have on the relationship between them;- Promotion of active citizenship and social cohesion;- Knowledge about cultural heritage;- Joint study and discussion about the history and the lessons that flow from it ;- Awareness of common European heritage based on the values, culture , history and traditions ;- Demonstrate the principles , mechanisms and objectives of the Euroepan Union;- Combating stereotypes and xenophobia;- Building trust between groups of young people ;- Emphasizing the need for dialogue and conflict resolution through joint hearing and solving problems;Issues raised during the project :- A common cultural and historical heritage of Polish and Ukrainian ;- Eastern Partnership ;- History, institutions , mechanisms of functioning of the EU ;- Contemporary problems of youth ;- Civil society and local government ;- Operation in the group;- European identity ;Participants:- Ostroleckie Towarzystwo Naukowe - Poland - non-governmental organization ;- Educational Initiatives Centre ( Центр освітніх ініціатив ) - Ukraine - a non-governmental organization ;Number of participants: 44 ( 2 groups of 20 persons + two youth leaders from each side)Methodology:Youth of Ukraine and Polish will participate in meetings, seminars, workshops and lectures by themselves under the guidance of leaders and experts, will explore the towns and regions through organized tours Polish the most important places associated with environmental issues and the Polish and European culture , as well as take part in organized events cognitive , cultural and integration .It also includes: joint workshops , integration initiatives , urban games , evenings national, sports tournaments .Results / benefits:Implementation of the project will be the first major step in the cultural education of young people at the level of international cooperation. Participants will develop not only as individuals , but also will be able to make a measurable benefit to the societies in which they live in the form of knowledge , skills and experience that will allow them to interact with the environment , take initiatives at the local, regional, national and international levels. The project will also be the basis for building networks of young people , as well as to further action -oriented youth positively in the future and to take further initiatives to further approximation of the two nations.
