Our newly founded so called common school made it its mission to extend inclusive structures, to meet current challenges of migration into society positively, and to allow people who are involved to participate in the work of our school within the framework of our understanding of democracy. Diversity is understood as an enriching opportunity and as the basic foundation of collective learning in both, the everyday school life, as well as in the overall development of the school.With this project, we hope to support a growth of competence in our colleagues, to promote the development of the school with systematic focus, to create an innovative and inclusive learning environment and to enable a school career to preferably all students to the best of their skills and abilities. Further training courses and job shadowing in other European countries offer the educators the opportunity to acquire communicative and co-operational skills, team work ability, diverse methodical approaches and professional self-reflection skills.Furthermore, the project aims to impart intercultural skills, open-mindedness and respect towards European partner countries, and the establishment of lasting school partnerships.The selected colleagues are prepared for the trip in the linguistic and intercultural area.After the event, the educators are encouraged to implement the acquired knowledge for the development of the school and to pass it on to the other colleagues.Thereby, this project hopes to encourage more teachers to further their training in other European countries and to integrate the acquired expertise in their daily work.The experiences gained in the courses are to be introduced into the class lessons and are to be incorporated into the educational concept of the school.We are convinced that the results of this project will find a way into the educational work in class and will therefore be directly conducive to the students.
