Our school is facing the challenge of change into a so called common school – an innovation kind of school where all children learn together in an inclusive way. One of our main targets is that teachers well equipped with motivation and competencies prepare the students to the requirements of a changing European job market. In order to avoid school failure and early school leaving a school concept determined by innovative learning approaches and methods as well as an effective project management is needed Running this Mobility project we aim increasing competences of our colleagues to push our school development plan ahead in order to create innovative and inclusive learning environments and to enable the students to reach a school degree according their individual skills and abilities. Six European Courses for further education will contribute to increased competencies of our teachers in project management, cross subject learning and learning at changing learning places as well as media competence. Further the Project will increase the intercultural competence of our colleagues in order to build partnerships with European project partners and to involve students into European project work. The participants of the projects are going to be prepared by a language and intercultural training. Evaluating the curses they will be supported to implement their gained knowledge in the frame of the school development and to share it with their colleagues. That way other teachers will be motivated in participating in future European mobility projects and to open their minds to integrate new ideas and projects into the daily teaching work. We target to implement the Mobility experiences as intercultural parts of the teaching concept and European projects as an integrative part of the school concept. This will help us to increase the social, language and intercultural competences of the students in order to increase their chances at the changing European job market. That way the project contributes to the job orientation of the students of our school.
