The project took place due to the cooperation between Europejska Fundacja Edukacji i Rozwoju, Zespół Szkół Zawodowych Nr 1 im. Józefa Psarskiego in Ostrołęka, ZS CEZiU from Rawa MAzowiecka and our partners in Portugal - Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade and Youthfully Yours from Greece. The interniships made 38 people from schools (35 students +3 facilitators) to go to Portugal and 2 groups (11+1 and 28+2) to go to Greece in order to develop their professional qualifications. The mobilities took place in 7-18.03.2016 in Portugal (Barcelos), 6-17.05.2016 and 3-14.06.2016 in Greece.
Thanks to the project the participants have increased the level of their knowledge and practical skills of students studying as assembler-mechatronic, mechatronic technician, car mechanic and car technician by active participation in practical courses of:
While attending the courses they have been monitored by professionally qualified mentors, who helped them to realize the planned activities and supported youth in acclimatization process. Despite technical development participants of the project had the opportunity ty develop their language skills. Not only had they developed the skills connected with technical vocabulary and terminology due to conducting the internship in English, but they had also developed general use of this langauge. Apart from practical assignments the participants took part in cultural programme and got a chance to interact with local communities as well which helped to develop their intercultural abilities, supported development of open and tolerant approach towards the differences they experienced abroad. By participating in internships all of the participants increased their chances of finding employment on local and international job markets. Their new skills and competences have been certified by the hosting organization with a cerificate and sending organization (Europass certificate)
