EuroLevel Mobility - Hotels sector
Start date: Sep 1, 2015, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project presented by Levelcom intends to add international work experience to the professional qualification of the participants in this project (people with VET certifications in Reception in Accommodations – Recepción en Alojamientos). It is not only that students acquire language skills for their work, but also work experience in European enterprises. This project has a special meaning for Andalusia, that has a wide tourist attraction and demands skilled professionals. From these professionals both language skills and maturity gained by experiences abroad are high valued. So as to develop this activity, only the most enthusiastic students will be selected. It is also essential to select carefully appropriate host companies, to organise carefully trips, reception and accommodation of participants, as well as to assess correctly the activities run in the enterprise. For implementation of this project Levelcom has qualified personnel with experience in the field of training and management of professional internships. The international dimension of the project is ensured by establishing agreements with companies, which are specialised in mobility of students/interns, and host enterprises that close the circle of training-employment. It is expected that with the completion of this project participants acquire valuable skills in order to work in the tourist industry in the future. Project benefits are not only those obtained by participants themselves. Indeed, this experience is a model for future students of Levelcom that will see later the traineeship abroad as a common activity in their training period. Additionally this activity brings also social and integrative benefits, since contact with other cultures benefits personal growth and helps to develop an inclusive and comprehensive mentality.
