EU-Russia Law Approximation

The proposed project aims to implement a course module focused on law approximation between the EU and partner countries, particularly the Russian Federation. Its main objective is to extend the curricula in the domain of the EU law and the process of European integration via adding specific topics on «EU-Russia law approximation» to the variety of legal disciplines, such as: European law, International law, Actual problems of International law, External economic activities, Dispute resolution, Consumer law within bachelor's and master's educational programs of the VSU and also via implementation of training and continuing education course . Within the Project it is also planned to include the module to the training course «Joint programmes: from mobility to employability». This will lead to preparation of highly qualified specialists with profound knowledge in EU law with particular attention to the law approximation between the EU, partner countries and Russia to broaden horizons of knowledge and competences application in the sphere of jurisprudence.The teaching activities will be supported by relevant teaching materials, which will be available for download on-line, and research activities, which will be implemented via a monograph «Relationships between the EU law and the law of member-states and third countries».All these activities within the Project will initiate the development of a critical and comparative mind-set amongst students and wider public about processes of European integration, developments of the EU law and its approximation with legal orders of partner countries and particularly Russia.
