This project provides the educators of Kadri Suyabakan Primary School with a 5-day training course (ITC- International Tefl Certificate in Czech Republic - Prague) named "ICT in Education" related to the effective integration of e-learning methods to the learning processes. It is planned that this project will be conducted, under the leadership of participant teachers, with the purpose of improving professional knowledge and skills, fostering innovative teaching approaches for the learning processes, developing the quality of education provided by the school, supporting intercultural communication and language skills of the school society and therefore, facilitating a powerful modernization by adding an intercultural dimension to the activities held at the school. Course Objectives • Providing general information about ICT within various classes • Defining ICT usage in education with its benefits, provide teachers with practical ideas for how they can incorporate technology into their existing lessons. • Pinpointing possible downsides of ICT in education as well as in real life and how to avoid it • Provide teachers with resources and various tools with which they can augment their e-learning content. • Introducing ways of motivation and creative thinking through ICT for both teachers and students Participants 9 educators, consisting of 1 principal, 1 English teacher, 5 second grade teachers, 3 third grade teachers and 1 fourth grade teacher who work as tenured educators in Kadri Suyabakan Primary School Activities Participant educators, working in Kadri Suyabakan Primary School will receive education within the scope of the course namely "ICT in Education" related to the effective integration of technology to the learning processes, by benefiting the training services of ITC, which is located in Prague, Czech Republic and they will have an experience in this respect. Participant educators will be able to make observations through a study visit to an education institution which will be be identified by ITC. Methodology: This course will be structured into 8 different training modules, each of which covers a different aspect of using e-learning in either a traditional classroom or an online setting. Coursework will contain a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge, often allowing the teachers to interact with the e-learning systems in a hands-on way. They will practice the necessary skills in order to be able to effectively use their own e-learning systems with their own students.
