The project "Migrant's etude" was elaborated and prepared by youngsters aged 15-25 from Poland, Turkey and Hungary. They came to partner organizations with this proposal. They are theatrically talented and also desire to promote and publicise the problem of migrants in their countries. It is one of the biggest problems of contemporary Europe. 36 young people will participate in the project (12 with geographical obstacles or culturally diversified). The idea has arisen as they felt an internal need to share the migration problem with others. The are in touch through social networks.The aim of the project is to present migrants' stories and provoke some reflection on the sense of life, human tragedies and appeal the issue to Europeans. The workshop using mime will allow to deepen this part of art in which the participants will express their emotions through gestures, facial expressions and body language. As a result, the youth will create the mime etude which will reveal the migrant's fate, their experience, feelings, pain, suffering caused by being made to leave their hometown and seeking a completely new place of living.The project objectives: developing the learning culture, motivating the youth to actively participate in any educational experience, also to learn foreign languages, self-development, leading the youth to self-reflection, the change of cultural awareness, exchange of good practices and mutual experiences, educating young people in terms of social, historical, cultural and religious values, promotion of international dialogue and international cohesion, teaching tolerance, respecting human rights and freedom, solidarity, sensitizing European citizens to the problems of old continent. Exchange of experiences will be very interesting especially in the context of multicultural background, expressed by telling migrants' stories. The project activities: preparatory visit, youth exchange (linguistic and cultural preparation, lectures on mime and other theatrical arts, mime workshops, laboratory classes, mime etude, performance)Methods: simulations, mutimedia presentations, ICT tools, interactive boards, talk, discussion, brainstorming, projection, explanation, demonstration; mime techniques: decroux, marceau, illusion, impulse, work with masque.Intangible results: growth of language competence, self-awareness, self-esteem, shaping civic attitudes, reinforced synergy between European countries, increased tolerance towards other cultures and religions, increased intercultural awareness, stronger EU identity and appurtenance to Europe.Tangible results: certificates, DVD (mime etude), videocoverage from mime happenings.The project will have effects on a local, regional, national and international level. The detailed description in H.1 Influence.Long-term benefits: networking with educational institutions, other organizations in Poland, partner countries and Europe, developing the network with other non-profit organisations, which will possibly result in making other partnerships in future, increased capability for both organisations to act in an international field, gaining experience in skillful and dexterious management in partnership, increased didactic experience in the field of education and art, growth of participating organisations' dynamism, modernity, involvement and readiness to implement the best practices in everyday activities.
