Estrategias para vincular los sistemas de cualificación profesional a la gestión de las Pymes en el sector metal

The project aims to adapt existing training offers and methodologies to the training needs in the metal sector SME in order to overcome the characteristic lack of resources in time and capital of these industries to promote human resources development. The development of the project involves: a study on the current state of the art and tendencies of the European and national institutional training systems regarding permanent in-company training as well on the human resources development management policies; a study on the expectations and needs of the human resources managers in the metal SME regarding the results of the previous study. The comparison of the previous two studies will enable the elaboration of guidelines to meet the needs. The final products are: (1) a Guide of the Permanent in-company training for the Metal industry SME with information about the external institutional offers, with most updated in-company competencies management practices and also with contributions on how to consider the specific needs of the workers with less access to training; (2) Strategic and Operative guidelines to improve the adhesion of the metal industry SME to permanent training institutional systems with information on the expectations and needs of the HR managers in relation to these systems and the advise on how to achieve a better relationship individualised according to each country partner reality. The primarily target group of the final products of the project are the metal industry managers and human resources managers and the institutional permanent training systems. Beneficiaries of the are the training providers and respective technical staff who can better adapt the offers to the SME expectations, the workers of these companies for whom can result a better access to competencies update and the unions representatives who can use the instruments as a basis for the social dialogue.
