Establishment of free WiFi and hot spot internet access points in Oradea and Debrecen (HS_OD)

The project aims to improve the cross-border communication in the euroregion by establishing free WiFi and hot spot internet access points in different public spaces in Oradea and Debrecen. The preparation and the implementation of the project will be jointly made and the IT experts from the mixed management team will have the opportunity of working together and exchange good practices from their experience.General objective:Increase of the internet access rate in the region of Bihor - Hajdú-Bihar.Specific objectives:1. Establishing free WiFi and hot spot internet access points in the Bihor – Hajdú-Bihar euroregion.2. Organizing training programs in using the internet.3. Creating a framework for communication cooperation between Oradea and Debrecen.The main activities of the project are: establishing the free WiFi and hot spot internet access points and training programs in using the Internet.The target groups are formed by the people residents or travellers, business people, students, which will actually access the hotspots internet access points established in Oradea and Debrecen, trainees that will attend the courses for using the internet, approximately 100 people, raising thus the number of trained people and reducing isolation through improved access to internet networks and services. Among the project results: 50 and 80 new WiFi and Hotspots internet access points in Oradea and Debrecen, 5 trainings and 100 people trained.
