Establishment of a Hungarian-Romanian innovation and training centre and launch of operation with pilot projects

The funding helped to set up a joint Hungarian-Romanian innovation and trainingcentre of regional significance in order to improve SMEs’ ability to innovate. Therebythe project also contributes to the economic development of disadvantagedcounties near the border. The Municipality of Nyírtelek established the Hungarian-Romanian Innovation and Training Centre in cooperation with its three partners. Thefacility houses a fully equipped food development and examination laboratory, a largetraining and conference hall, a smaller training room, a computer room, an office andcommunal areas. Trainings on innovation, comprehensive quality management andcomputer skills have also been held for Hungarian and Romanian entrepreneurs in theframework of the project.
