Erweiterungs-und Vertiefungsstrategien zur Professionalität von Lehrer/innen im bilingualen Unterricht mit fächerverbindendem Kontext

Being a secondary school with a bilingual branch we would like to enable eight teachers get used to teaching their subjects in CLIL. Courses in Great Britain not only offer the art of cutting-edge didactics and methodology but also the opportunity to aquire intercultural competencies. We aim to offer the students of our CLIL classes the best possible chances to continue their education at the "International Commercial High School" and obtain their International Baccalaureate. The mentors of our CLIL trainee teachers should be put into the position to help them finish their teacher´s training to the best of their abilities. During the course of their teaching career they should be able to profit from what we have been able to teach them. Especially the English Club for gifted students at our school will profit from our newly acquired intercultural competencies. We also aim to establish a European network with European CLIL teachers met on courses resulting in long term joint projects and eventually in our establishment as "Europa-Schule".
