The College for Social Pedagogics of the BK in the Bildungsparc in Essen qualifies nursery nurses/kindergarten teachers, who work as experts to reinforce the pedagogical process in the local social-pedagogic institutions. This course for qualification has so far only seldom been involved in EU-project work. In so far there does not exist much experience in an international interchange. In consequence this is an application in the initial phase of the sustainable implementation of EU-project-work in the qualification of social-pedagogic professionals.The aim of the “Interchange of experience by doing work-placement/internships in European projects in institutions of education for the early childhood” is understood as an intercultural opening of the College for Social Pedagogics.The learners are expected to thus widen their horizon, their language, intercultural and social pedagogical competences in order to be prepared for the future life in Europe and to gain relevant insights and impulses for their expected local professional work in heterogenic groups. Apart from instruments for quality- and project-management applied in their country, new instruments and tools are expected to be developed and applied in the cooperation with the project-partners to connect schools with institutions of social pedagogic education.Since 2012/13 the College for for Social Pedagogics of the BK in the Bildungsparc has done steps of an involvement in international EU-project-work. In this context the College for Social Pedagogics of the BK in the Bildungsparc took place in a meeting for cooperation with the SOSU Sjaelland, Denmark. The College for for Social Pedagogics found a first partner for cooperation with a many-sided variety of deep experience and a widely developed infra-structure and network in the European space, so that learners can be attentively accompanied and qualified. These contacts to European partners have been steadily intensified through the years since then.The profile of participants varies from a completed primary education to a b-level, combined with internships. The chosen students participating in the project follows criteria of different priorities such as pre-conditions concerning language, personality, intercultural competences and achieved aims in the process of qualification. The College for Social Pedagogics of the BK in the Bildungsparc in general and the leading board of the project have done the following activities: They have found commitment with the head of school, supported by a clear structure of ressources including finances and project-phases coordinated with the international partners; in the course of this process the participants are selected in a comprehensive way. And then they are qualified in intercultural and language qualification to be prepared for the Placement abroad.The documents to base the qualification until the end of the process are developed together and then taken to support the learners until the ending phase of evaluating the entire cooperation-experience they will have collected in the most intensive way possible, so that a maximum of transfer-benefit is made possible. The project-leading board is responsible for the publication of the results after the final step. Of each project-turn.The teachers gain new qualification in project-planning and management including evalutation.The learners have the chance of acquiring new intercultural, language and social pedagogic competences and to integrate them into their everyday professional activities. This is specifically important for the connection of school-qualification and practical professionalization. The curriculum-work of the College for Social Pedagogics of the BK will have relevant benefits from this process as far as aims, means, documents and evaluation instruments are concerned.The cooperation with more experienced partners in EU-project-work is intended to be used for the long-term, sustanimable implementation of an education for Europe in the sense of humane and peace-education.
