The target group of the project „Practical Skills for european job " consists of students from the „Christiana” College of Nursing from Galati, in the 2’th and 3'th year of study with specialization for general nurse.The school have identified the needs for practical training of students. The receiving unit for all stages of practice is a specialized company with experience in Germany.In the current economic climate in Romania the number of graduates from nursing schools is greater than the number of job vacancies and finding a job for recent graduates can be a problem. In the schools, teachers and students toghether are concerned about personal and professional training of future graduates. One problem identified by the school is finding real companies where students can do practical training of good quality.Well trained graduates who have communication skills and knowledge of a foreign language have greater chances of employment. Thus, given the specific profession of nurses, school have identified a need for practical training of students from this three schools in real companies from the real economic environment. The practice for Students in a German company ensure this training, considering this three aspects mentioned. The approval that have came from the company specialized located in Germany is very advantageous for practical training and personal development of students graduated from the „Christiana” College of Nursing. Following this training conducted in internships, graduates can get a job in a European country, thus facilitating student’s transition from school to work.1. Professional training at European standards of students through practical skills training specific to medical activity, thereby increasing the employability of future graduates and students facilitating student’s transition from school to work.2. Introducing students to teamwork in a competitive job, so student develop his communication skills3. Improving social skills, learning professional behavior based on respect for colleagues and patients.4. Assimilation of language skills by learning new medical terms.5. Personal development of students through the accumulation of information about Germany's cultural specifics, this resulting in increased employment opportunities for future graduates.Each internship have 10 students and run for a period of 42 days. In total there will be 3 internships. The project lasts for one year.In the internship students will conduct practical training of specific activities for nurses. Medical activities taking place in the Medical Center but also outpatient care. Thus, all students will take part in the two areas of specialization for medical training: inpatient and outpatient.Working environment consists of highly trained professionals in the medical field. The host company is a prestigious company in the medical field and has experience in terms of receiving students who become nurses because company is performing internships to students of specialized schools from Germany. Besides the practical work, students will participate in Workshops and specialized topics in a job interview.The target group will participate in cultural activities specific to the area: Land of Hessen sightseeing and attending traditional festivals to be held between mobility time. Following activities in the project and experience will be developed a material to support all nurses school’s graduates. This is called "Guide in finding a job in Europe for nurses" and will be published and promoted in the online environment, on social networks. Beneficiaries are graduates from all nurses schools in Romania of future generations.Through activities carried out the project achieves its objectives.
