Equestrian traditions without borders in Satu Mare (ECVESTRO)
Start date: Jan 31, 2011, End date: Jan 30, 2012 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project goal is to exploit the historical, social and inherited traditions in order to bring communities closer to each other. Thus, the identified common needs are being addressed together. The project intends to offer a possibility to young generation to get closer to nature and natural values and encourages those between 8 up to 18 years old to spend their free time in the middle of nature through training courses organized especially for them. By implementing the project activities, especially the common cross-border contests, 200 young people from both cities, Satu Mare and Mateszalka meet and have the opportunity to practice their gained abilities during the training session, to stimulate their computational spirit during joint contests and to establish new friendship and collaboration relations. The direct target group of the project is formed by 350 young people between 8 up to 18 years old. Indirect beneficiaries are all persons living in the two regions, such as relatives, acquaintances, colleagues, friends and any other passing by person or potential tourist, taking into consideration the fact that the public events have been intensively reflected in the media.
