equALLizer is an 8 days Youth Exchange conducted in Rustavi, Georgia from 19 of June 2016 till 26 of June 2016. The project aims to foster mutual understanding, raise the awareness of cultural diversity between young people from different countries through art and culture and achieve cultural dialogue between them through turning them in a process of planning, preparing and conducting the music festival. Main Objectives of the project are:• To develop professional skills of young musicians involved in project through giving them possibility to perform in front of the wide audience and take part in organizing the festival;• To create an atmosphere for young people to express themselves unlimitedly to share and build up a network;• To organize an intercultural exchange between young people from different cultural backgrounds;• To promote tools of non-formal education as a way of individual development;• To promote the electronic music as a tool to deliver the messages of the youth;• To foster equality and tolerance among young people;• To inform and promote Erasmus+ as a tool to educate and enhance the youth work and international and intercultural dimension.The youth exchange will bring 24 young people and 8 group leaders with the professional or semi-professional background in the electronic music from the organizations in 6 countries to shape them into young change-makers through music. Three weeks earlier the youth exchange the advanced planning visit of the group leaders will occur to shape the plan of the process. The youth exchange will be carried out using various methods of non-formal education that will also create platform for multiplying and sharing the gained competences. By this project we expect a short-term benefit to develop the participants personally and the long-term benefit on the communities of the involved countries by having young leaders who actually can have impact on them in terms of youth in the society.
