The project aims at developing qualification of human capital and application of modern methods of training that meet the needs of the labour market. By developing an e-module for computer training and its free implementation the competitiveness of human resources in the region and the quality of services offered in the field of ICT is enhanced. The project also establishes a network between business representatives, vocational training centres, and Labour offices, people supplying and looking for work with the aim of adequate realization of human capital in the region. Acquisition of equal knowledge by the two sides of the border helps increasing the mobility and employability in the cross-border region. The project enables people with disabilities to be educated, to be informed about employment opportunities and, accordingly, be employed by employers seeking qualified personnel. Achievements: Participants in the project were people from the socially vulnerable groups (long-term unemployed, disabled people, poor, etc.), youth with low educational level, employed, who like to improve their professional competences, SME-s, labour mediators, educational institutions, local authorities, NGOs. A sociological survey was conducted at the initial phase of the project for identification of the needs of local business in the process of hiring new employees and the level of qualification of employed and unemployed in the regions of Haskovo (Bulgaria) - Edirne (Turkey).A website www.trainyourself.eu and a bilingual (Bulgarian and Turkish) e-learning module for computer training were developed. Upon registration and receiving of personal access code to the module, everybody willing to improve their knowledge and skills in different computer applications (programs) is able to do it for free and at a convenient time and place.Partner organizations conducted workshops in Haskovo and Edirne with the participation of representatives of the target groups to promote innovative educational activities. At the end of the project, in Haskovo a Bulgarian-Turkish Forum was hosted for establishment of cross-border partnership network between business, labour markets and firms, educational institutions and others situated in Haskovo district and Edirne Province.The project has been successfully accomplished in June 2012.
