Environment we trust!
Start date: Aug 1, 2015, End date: Mar 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The “Environment we trust!” project will be implemented in Sárospatak in collaboration with the Romanian Association of Intercultural Communities, the Hungarian Regionális Ifjúsági Szolgáltató Központ and the Slovakian Patrónus organizations. The project is aimed at problems related to the environment. Within this framework we want to give relevant information and practical knowledge about the different ways of recycling to the participating youth in an intercultural environment that focuses on non-formal learning, intercultural communication and also on developing the participant’s competences. There will be 30 participants on the project: 10 young people from each participating country (Romania, Hungary, Slovakia) between the age 17-30 who are interested in the project’s theme. The project aims drawing the attention of young people on environmental issues and the importance of recycling. In addition we would like to create the opportunity to present the existing information about environmental issues through the project, also to improve the youth’s creativity and self-expression through non-formal learning methods and to create an intercultural dialogue in order to increase the level of tolerance in the participants. The project will be implemented with the help of non-formal methods (workshops, games), which will be added to the presentations, intercultural activities and recreational programs. Some of the expected results will be those that are tangible, such as: commercials, recycled objects, posters, as well as the skills and competences that participants will acquire throughout the project. By multiplying the project results, we will increase the project impact to a broader circle. Sharing the commercials and the learning methods we will transmit the project’s message further, thereby increasing the impact of the project.
