Project will contribute to experience exchange between partner institutions in the field of children education of sustainable development, environment protection and utilization of renewable energy sources. It is particular that partner on this project are in complementary position in relation to European Union – Serbia is Candidate country, and it will adopt experiences from Hungary, which is member state of the EU, and can transfer significant experience. Since environment has no boundaries, education and experience exchange already in early school period, raise awareness on importance of environment protection, and also on utilization of renewable energy sources and energy consumption efficiency. With joint endeavors similar methods of education will be formed, respecting specific conditions in every environment. The mail goal is to create responsibility toward environment already at early stage of educational development of children and to recognize that the goal is mutual. Also, awareness amongst children will be raised on forms and necessity of utilization of renewable energy sources. Beside education, participating children will be motivated to even further develop their knowledge and their education in different fields, especially in those fields that contribute to utilization of renewable energy sources andincreasing on energy consumption efficiency Achievements: Education and the exchange of experiences at an early age can raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and also about the use of renewable energy sources and efficient energy consumption. This project contributed to the exchange of experiences between partner institutions in the field of educating children about sustainable development, environmental protection and the use of renewable energy sources. The main goal of the project was to introduce responsibility for the environment in the early stages of institutional education, and to help children recognise that this should be a common goal of all human endeavours. In order to achieve this goal, the partners organised two Green School camps, one in Serbia and one in Hungary, to familiarise elementary school pupils with renewable energy sources. The children took part in team work tasks, study visits to energy companies and sightseeing trips. The partners also organised an online competition to strengthen energy-awareness. Beside these activities, a park demonstrating the use of renewable energy sources was organised in Algyo. Right sources, doors and windows at the Nikola Tesla Elementary School were modernised to reduce energy consumption, building. These specific infrastructural investments will help the two institutions demonstrate the benefits and sustainability of green technologies and environmentally conscious reconstructions of the buildings and the use of renewable energy sources to other organisations, especially educational ones, in the region. The objectives of the project were widely promoted and the partners developed educational methods that instil in children respect for the environment and contribute to the use of renewable energy sources and increase the efficiency of energy consumption. Environmental protection and utilisation of renewable energy sources for the green future of children renewable energy sources was organised in especially during colder periods of the year, and a solar panel was installed on top of the of the building. These specific infrastructural investments will help the two institutions demonstrate the benefits and sustainability of green technologies and environmentally conscious reconstructions of the buildings and the use of renewable energy sources to other organisations, especially educational ones, in the region.
