Entwicklung eines Gesamtkonzepts für Individuelle Förderung (Tutor System ) (Stockport twin town )

The main target of the project is a significant improvement of Individually Prescribed Instruction (IPI) at our school.This target should be reached by an extension of competence within the teaching staff concerning the strenghtening of taking personal initiative, working independently and peer leadership of the students. The bottom line is to enable students to learn efficiently on their limits and within them to be able to teach other students.In addition, we strive for improvement of the knowledge of English, insight into more efficient methods of teaching and we strive for integrating the tutoring system in our daily school life.The first level comprises different groups of teachers mainly those teaching English, German, Spanish and mathematics.The participants inform all others members of their groups about the contents of the training course and show ways of implementing the learnt contents in our school.The participants will be in a disseminator role and have to lecture on the gained knowledge in order to embed the European perspective in all subjects.In the long run a clearly structured IPI should be part of our school life and cause synergy effects in order to be able to support the students efficiently.
