Entwicklung einer individualisierten Lernumgebung an der GWRS Ostheim

The GWRS Ostheim is on its way to be a "Gemeinschaftsschule". Therefore, and also due to the new education plan we will have to adapt the school's profile and furthermore extend the methodical and intercultural skills of the teaching staff. Our school has already made enriching experiences as a participating institution of a Comenius project. Various educational studies show that individualized learning is successfully implemented especially in Scandinavian countries. That is why we would like to participate in the school mobility projects of the Erasmus + program to use this as a support on the way to become a "Gemeinschaftsschule."In implementing the new type of school, our focus is on the design of a modified school and learning culture. This includes several project objectives:- Development of individualized, differentiated and cooperative learning with the involvement of procedure of the Scandinavian countries (best practice)- Performance / feedback culture at "Gemeinschaftsschule" is similar to the Scandinavian system with fewer notes, but with verbal assessments- Collegial exchange of experience with other European and local teachers- Integration oft the experience from other countries concerning the support of high-achieving as well as weaker students into our own profile- Aquiantance of the system of inclusion in different countries and usage of the knowledge for own conceptEight colleagues are involved in the application who teach different grade and subjects. All colleagues have already made experience with different methods of individualized and cooperative learning, e.g. with differentiated weekly schedules, the diagnosis of learning deficits and different forms of learning level measurements. Two of the participants have already taken part in Comenius projects and have experience with subsequent training to other teachers.We plan four seminars with the topics "individualized learning", "individual support" and "inclusion" in Sweden, Finland, Norway and South Tyrol. The colleagues will get to know different school systems, sit in at various educational institutions and have time to talk with local teachers and other participants about their experience.In several project meetings with the project manager and the head of school, participants will be prepared for their stay abroad. In advance, all colleagues will be asked for their expectations and monitoring orders for the stay abroad will be formulated.After the seminars, the skills gained by the participants should be communicated to all colleagues. The new content will be first presented at a pedagogical training day and discussed what content can be integrated into the school profile of GWRS Ostheim. Then we want to continue working in the steering team and in working groups on various topics.In the long term, we want to create a school profile, in which the individualized and included learning will fulfill the needs of all our different students.
