Much has been spoken of the importance of agriculture as a means to overcome the crisis that we are experiencing and reduce unemployment. A growing number of known cases of entrepreneurs who are in this industry an opportunity for your life. Therefore, it is increasingly important need to invest in young people in this industry as a means of creating your own job. This project aims to empower young people who wanted to invest in agriculture, creating their own employment, informing them of the existing European support in this area, as well as self-employment in rural areas, from creation to the company's own marketing through training and presentation of success stories in the local community. That said, there is an urgent need to attract and train young farmers, contrary to the low rate of young farmers across europe, especially in Portugal. Likewise, it is important to train young entrepreneurship in job creation, not leaving behind the tractional method, training them for new technologies and existing platforms worldwide. This project aims the sharing of good practice from various countries through non-formal education, training young people for self-employment based on a plan to issue adequeado business through formal and non formal education, giving space to creativity, teamwork and develop consistent strategies of development of territories, create new opportunities for the creation of micro enterprises, as well as present studies that identify needs regarding the establishment of self sustainable micro-enterprises of agro-environmental nature. At the end, participants will realize the importance of entrepreneurship and to what extent this can change their lives. In addition, participants will improve the entrepreneurial skills you already have and acquire new ones. With these new skills, participants can more easily enter the labor market or at least have the tools to create their own projects. Participants will have access to information specific to the area of agriculture, which may be used for the creation of their projects. This project will be held from 2 to 9 October 2015 in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, Portugal and with the participation of 30 young people from seven different countries were selected taking into account some indicators of the current state of their countries: youth unemployment , economic crisis, lack of initiative and reduced youth association movement. Thus, it becomes essential to emphasize countries with these problems, encouraging initiative and independence of young people, actively seeking employment, entrepreneurship, the associative movement, initiative and empowerment of young people. For this project, youth will be selected with an active role in society, which are part of an organization or that, somehow, able to influence others. These young people should have a profile of entrepreneur, integrating skills such as leadership, pro-activity, dynamism, ability to work in teams, critical spirit, empathy, negotiation skills and self evaluation. Should still like agriculture or outdoor activities. In the end, the participants will realize the importance of entrepreneurship and to what extent this can change their lives.
