Entrepreneurship for the responsible European citizen
Start date: Sep 1, 2014, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project is coordinated by the French school Lycée privé CCI in Nimes. The other participating countries are Sweden, Norway, Belgium and Germany. The English language will be used throughout the project to ensure easy communication between our European teachers and students. The guideline for the project is Entrepreneurship. Indeed, by developing partnerships between education and employment, as the labour market is difficult for younger people in some parts of Europe more than in others, we would like to give our students possibility to experience entrepreneurship in an European context and specific knowledge in their own field of studies. In connection to the entrepreneurial context we also want to: - give the students experience how social entrepreneurship can support inhabitants with different needs with focus on food and healthcare - develop language skills through specific professional vocabulary - develop their desire, determination and adaptability to create their own future through entrepreneurship. Our work together will consist of study visits to companies and organizations, some school work, work on a common website but also real meetings where we change experiences between students as well as teachers. We develop partnerships between education and employment, we want to show the students that the step between education and employment is closer than it appears. We also want our students to understand the importance of entrepreneurship in Europe. The difference of beeing an employer or beeing an employee. We also focus on social entrepreneurship that contributes to the European wellbeing. With the results, we can make our students more self-confident and prepared for the future as an entrepreneurial and responsible citizen in Europe creating more jobs in several fields.
