Entertainment activities for historical, naturalistic and recreational itineraries
Start date: Sep 30, 2004, End date: Mar 30, 2006 PROJECT  FINISHED

This project is part of an educational action aimed at the tourist promotion of the Italian-Slovenian cross-border area through a partnership agreement among local Institutions, training centres, associations, enterprises, and other subjects who are actively involved in local development. The training programme, targeting unemployed persons, stems from the need to promote and enrich existing and/or future tourist itineraries (with a marked historicalcultural content, as well as naturalistic-recreational) through actions aimed at making the local tourist offer accessible and appealing, by promoting coordinated and joint actions in a cross-border context. In this sense, this professional will be able to manage guided entertainment activities for groups of tourists along historical-cultural-naturalistic itineraries already identified and to improve their level of fruition and accessibility for a heterogeneous group of tourist beneficiaries; to promote the participation to the tourist itineraries identified of associations and business enterprises active in tourist accommodation, cultural , environmental, agricultural and artisanal contexts; to enhance the appeal of existing itineraries by structuring, including in networks and overseeing various tourist products that can increase the number of visitors year-round. He/she operates therefore both in the field of organisational management and in guided entertainment related to cross-border tourist itineraries and circuits. Employment opportunities include public institutions, bodies in charge of the management of the proposed itineraries, local tourist promotion agencies and cooperatives and services consortia.
