Enterprising Europe - Competency-based Training for Europe's Future Entrepreneurs

The project's purpose is to develop a unified approach to entrepreneurship training across different European countries and for different target groups, and this is to be achieved through the design of a competency-based, on-line, flexible, modular learning framework. The standards to be applied further expect to guarantee that learning content is able to be re-used within any Learning Management System that is SCORM or AICC compliant. Project outputs will comprise: a specification document on entrepreneurial and trainer competencies; a paper-based design and digital prototype learning environment; a guidance and on-line tutoring model; a training-of-trainers programme; a learning object repository; on-line training modules and dissemination tools and an end evaluation report. All of these will be published on the project website, in EN only, except for the modules which will be also be made available in BG, EL, DE, FR, HU & NL. Certain documents will be available in print only, i.e. training-of-trainers course and publicity brochures. A series of 5 basic and 5 advanced on-line entrepreneurship training modules are envisaged by the project. Beyond the partnership, project results will be publicised at regional level, via the website information platform, to large networks of companies and training organisations. Active dissemination will involve presentations, articles to relevant journal and distribution of the end modules, possibly on a commercial basis.
