Enseñanza creativa y espíritu emprendedor en la enseñanza de adultos.
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our project includes formative activities for three of our teachers (staff) in order to improve our work in the school in three different aspects which have been identified as main needs in our school: the introduction into the teaching of Entrepreneurship and Employability competence, the improvement of our methods used for teaching English to adults in special circumstances (including blended and distance learners) and to foster effective use of TIC in our classes and creative teaching methods that will help to prevent dropout, failure rates and lack of academic achievement on the part of our learners. Bearing in mind the high unemployment figures and our learners' profile, we intend, with the structured courses we apply for, to approach the competences for self-employment and tackle it from our classes from different points of view and perspectives in particular, emphasizing on the social integration, ensuring equal opportunities, the use of the new technologies and entrepreneurial skills amongst our learners In order to meet all these needs that have been identified, we apply for activities provided by two intitutions in the UK and one in Slovenia. These institutions are widely recognized with quality labels and offer tuition that meets our needs ( as mentioned in section d in this application) regarding the three teachers' interests on the intercultural exchange, the use of the new technologies and their previous experience on the fields we need to improve to introduce ourselves into an experience of teaching Entrepreneurship and contemporary business models , to get the necessary tools which will allow us facilitate entreprenurial skills among our students and enhance their employability. We also seek a real exchange of experiences with other European institutions providing tuition for adults by means of the use of E-Twinning, which will enlarge our personal and professional horizons and hopepully our students' labour market. We guarantee the monitoring of these activities by appointing a teacher who will coordinate the process and who will be in touch continuously with our school's headmaster. In the same way, we also guarantee the presentation and spread of the results by means of a document that will be handled to the the different sectors of our educational community, local and regional authorities. We expect an impact through the activities that will be included in our lesson plans and which will effectively be carried out with our learners in our classes and tutorials (previously coordinated with the school psycologist). As well as this, we expect an effective exchange of experiences through the contact with other adult tuition providers which will allow collaborative work and broaden the European dimension for our students, enlarge their labour market and eventually may lead to the implementation of a K2 project in our school.
