Our school started the Bilingual Programme of Region of Murcia in English during the school year 2013-2014. It is, therefore, a recently implemented programme in our school . The teachers involved so far are the Social Science and Maths teachers. To be able to carry on offering this programme, we find it neccessary to involve the most number of teaching departments. It is important to have as many teachers as possible and also a wide scope of subjects. At this moment, our teachers are learning English, with high motivation and a fantastic will power. But teaching in the bilingual programme is not just having a B2 level in English, it is also and mainly implementing the CLIL methodology in their lessons. Both English teachers and Non-English teachers involved in the Programme should implement this methodology. This is of vital importance if we want to achieve quality in Education. We, therefore, request the help of the European Programme to achieve those two objectives. The result will be quality in our Educational system and this will be reflected in the results of the external examinations that our pupils will get. The benefits will be not only to our students but also to our school . Parents will see the positive results and future parents will rely on us when it comes to choosing school for their children.
